Just a quick note to thank you and your amazing team at both Hot Bikram Balham and Fulham. I have had the great privilege of practicing with a wide variety of your highly skilled instructors.
I want to take this opportunity and congratulate you, as your studio is the best one I have ever been to.
You really took Bikram Yoga classes to a complete different level, and after visiting several studios in the US I can tell you that everything in your studio, from Hygiene, classes, teachers, service, to decoration really stands out. There is absolutely no comparison with anything I have seen so far!
I am so lucky to have discovered Bikram Yoga with you, and really lucky to have your studio near my home.
I just wanted to let you know that I think your Balham yoga studio is fantastic. Your teachers that I have had so far are all so different and all are excellent. Full marks to you.
Just to let you know that I finished 30 days challenge on 21st Aug. It has been an amazing experience. I was feeling so fresh, had so much energy and I couldn’t stop talking to my friends and colleagues about it.
Can I also take this opportunity to thank you for bringing Bikram to Balham. I can honestly say it's the toughest yet most rewarding form of exercise I've ever done. I've only been coming to your studio for three weeks and already I can feel the incredible benefits. Sometimes I love it, other times I die but I always walk to the tube wanting to go straight back in and do another class. Crazy, I know!
Thank you also for my 20% discount for completing the 30 day challenge. I left a bottle of champagne as a thank you to everyone for their help and support, you have a great team of people who are all very friendly and approachable
Well done & congratulations!! I LOVE the new Balham studio.
Went to the 7pm class tonight and it was awesome – I thought the glass roof was great to look up at the clouds.
I have been to many yoga classes but yours by far is the Best. It is bright, very clean and full of positive energy. I have tried many different activities and sports and have found myself in Bikram Yoga. It suits my life style and brought peace of mind in to my life not to mention weight loss.
...a Massive thank you for opening such a lovely studio. I always tell people it's one of the friendliest places around, so welcoming and a real haven in the city. I stumbled across it almost 2 years ago and haven't looked back
I feel that I have finally found the MOST DIVINE excercise in my whole life at the tender age of 55. I can honestly see me doing this excercise for the next 20-30 years. I adore the HEAT, I adore the suppleness of my body after excercise and most of all I adore the FEELING inside of me when I practise Bikram Yoga.
You have created a great studio - the atmosphere is so friendly and without exception your teachers are outstanding both in their attitude and in their instruction. Having completed the 30 days of Bikram practise it has been an exhilarating and enlightening experience..
My experience of Bikram yoga has been like a total spring clean... You have done a great job creating The Bikram Studio in Parsons Green, a place where people can come and find themselves. The staff are very friendly the atmosphere is loving and forgiving.
I have just competed my ten day trial and I must say that bikram yoga really is an awesome form of exercise. I have been rock climbing for years and and I have experienced a noticeable improvement in my climbing since going to the yoga classes.
Thank you also for my 20% discount for completing the 30 day challenge. I left a bottle of champagne as a thank you to everyone for their help and support, you have a great team of people who are all very friendly and approachable.
Hi Olga - I LOVE it!!!!!! I have done two 6.45 classes now - yesterday and today - I love the teachers, the studio is wonderful - and I LOVE the Bikram yoga! I am going to do it everyday! I am already addicted! Even my fingers are still buzzing two hours afterwards! I have done yoga before but this is like 100 yoga classes in one plus the feeling of jumping into a lake on a scorching hot day - so invigorating! Thanks so much!
What a great experience the clinic was...for us as teachers, for your students, of course. The format you chose was unique and worked really well. You set up a very comfortable atmosphere for students to play and dare to go further, to make mistakes and ask questions and feel supported--really admirable and inspiring.
We have noticed the benefits after just three classes... healthier-looking skin, improved relaxation, better posture and overall we're a bit happier since starting..
Your beginner's offer is such a fantastic deal! I've done 5 days so far and feel great..This is such an achievement for me and I feel like I've won my battle with heat, thanks to Hot Bikram Yoga!
I’ve done 3 classes now, first 1 was ok, hurt a bit, second 1 was harder and I hurt all over after. 3rd 1 was much easier in certain movements and I felt a lot more flexible too. Looking forward to my next session already!
I am a triathlete so I train consistently and I have found the benefits from coming to Bikram twice or more a week amazing for my general body conditioning but more than anything balancing tightening of the muscles especially in the legs from running and cycling.
I have just finished my one month membership and I managed to get to 21 classes out of
the 30 days. Feel totally great. I am joining up for another 30 days today. Am going to attempt the 30 day challenge.
I started Bikram last May and gave up going to the gym three times a week (after ten years
of it!) by July. Two weeks ago I went to have my eyes and my eyesight has improved by 0.5
in both eyes, a stress-related menstrual problem that I have had for 2 and a half years has
vastly improved and I have dropped a dress size and a half. Thanks very much to Hot Bikram Yoga Fulham, the calming atmosphere, caring teachers and the tasty Bounce balls :)
I am totally addicted and have been back every day. I truly believe that it is the best work out that I have ever done and I have covered a lot from Iyengar yoga to spinning, kick boxing, boxercise, you name it, I have done it. But I am hooked on Bikram Yoga. My skin was instantly softer and immediately I feel much better within myself. My days revolve around my classes.
Since 2000 I have been struggling to regain my health. I had done Pilates on regular basis but after sustaining a head injury in a road traffic accident I was unable to regain my health to what it had been before the accident
I discovered Bikram Yoga in June 2006 and by doing Bikram Yoga I was able to complete the London Triathlon despite my joint injuries.
I have done Bikram Yoga with more focus since October 2006. I really love the atmosphere at the Fulham Studio. I practice at least 3 times per week and have had amazing results. I can feel my middle spine regaining its flexibility. Also, my left elbow, knee and ankle are also becoming more flexible as are my hips and feet.
In addition my skin feels amazingly smooth and soft and my waist is now less than 27" - it has not been this small for over 20 years!!
I have lots of energy. My memory and concentration are also much improved. Now that I am no longer frustrated by ill-health I have more confidence. I have even started singing lessons and discovered that Bikram Yoga and singing is a wonderful combination.
Bikram yoga has been fantastic for me. I've been coming for about three months, a few times a week, and it's totally changed the way I feel both physically and mentally. I've gone from a size 36 to a 32, I'm sleeping like a baby, and I feel (and apparently look!) about five years younger - my energy levels are great. It's also helped me get through a hectic Christmas party season without putting on too much of a Father Christmas look!
I've been having physio for a problem I have with my shoulders for a while now; since doing the yoga regularly, the pain in my shoulders has subsided substantially and my physio has told me that there is no need to see her so regularly anymore. This is fantastic news for me, since this is a recurring problem I've had since I was 14 (I'm 25 now)!
I think the class back challenge definitely helped me to make sure i went twice a week. I can really feel the benefits so that makes me want to keep it up. My body works much better and my waist seems smaller great as i don’t naturally have a small waist.
Thank you for the 10-day pass, it has been wonderful. I attended my fifth class this morning and all classes are consistently good, no question the best yoga classes I have found in London. Since I have been coming to classes I have been more focussed, alert and energised, and I really feel the benefit after every session.
The Class back Challenge has been great for setting realistic parameters for my practice - knowing that my body and mind feel FINE when I practice twice per week - sustaining a focus and commitment that is REALISTIC and ACHIEVABLE and COMPELLING and FULFILLING and enabling all sorts of benefits that I look for whenever I set well-formed outcomes in life :) Thank you for the opportunity xxxxx
I started Bikram yoga in Fulham, after my physio recommended it to me. I did karate for 10 years and have always done some sort of gym work or running (varying in levels of commitment over the years) but have never done any sort of yoga. I have done about 6 sessions so far and I am SO glad I was lucky enough to stumble upon such a great studio. I was very apprehensive about starting, for a number of reasons.
I usually don't like heated rooms such as saunas, steam-rooms etc but the Bikram studio is not overwhelming like that at all and although takes a bit of getting used to, starts to feel 'normal' very quickly.
There REALLY IS a mixed bunch of people in each class. Again, I was scared everyone would be fitter/slimmer/more flexible/ more experienced than me but I felt so welcome by the staff and the rest of the class that my fear of feeling intimidated completely disappeared after the warm-up breathing exercises. Everyone is there for their own practice and regardless of how experienced you are, I really felt there was a sense of mutual respect for just having had the courage to turn up.
The actual practice of Bikram has brought so many good things into my life. I have already improved and can definitely feel a difference in my body, both in flexibility and in muscular tone. However, the MAIN attraction to Bikram for me, is the mental benefit: The feeling of personal achievement I feel after each class - knowing I have done an honest class, working hard whilst doing something beneficial for my body in each posture. Bikram is unlike any other exercise I have done before. I feel my whole approach to exercise has changed, from being concerned with time, speed or distance ran and calories burnt, to something more whole and more about doing something for the long-haul. I feel much calmer, more relaxed - the rest of my exercise programme has become more enjoyable as a result and I have found something that helps give me freedom from my hectic life, a few hours a week.
I can definitely see me practicing Bikram for a very long time to come. Not to mention the friends I know I'll make on the way
