COMPLIMENTARY POSTURE CLINIC, BALHAM

PostureMany of you have now been practicing for a while and even for those new to the studio, you may have reached a point in your practice where you have specific questions to ask about postures and your practice.

Teachers are always available before and after every class, so never feel shy to ask for assistance. But to help push your practice on, we will be holding a COMPLIMENTARY POSTURE CLINIC where you can come along and have your questions answered. If you are new to the yoga, you may want to come along to listen and learn a bit more. This will be discussion and example based where we will go through various postures as requested. In order that we can cover the most relevant postures please e-mail me in advance with your questions. Everyone welcome!

SANJAI’S COMPLIMENTARY MEDITATION SESSION

It is suitable for everyone, whether you have had some experience in meditation before or whether you are totally new to it. It is a perfect way to enhance your yoga practice and stay relaxed and focus in a busy hectic world. So come along and learn some simple techniques that you can use yourself.

A note from Sanjai:

As a yoga and meditation teacher, healer, and massage therapist I am privileged to have the opportunity to work with people on an individual and group basis. Through my years of teaching and self exploration, I constantly find that more and more people have been feeling stuck, struggling with different aspects of their present lives and unable to come to terms with aspects of their past.
 
As a society we are educated to think, we are valued and remunerated for our capacity to think while equally are required to suppress our emotions. As children we are taught 'right' and 'wrong' ways to express our emotions and we carry these patterns inside us even when some of these learned behaviours is detrimental to our health and well-being. So we are uncomfortable with our emotions, not able to understand them, cannot hold onto 'good' emotions and so we simply keep on suppressing 'bad' emotions. We live in fear, fear of losing our jobs, our partners, fear for the safety of our children, fear of losing our balance in a yoga posture..... This constant living in fear plays havoc with your health, mental peace of mind, energy and vitality.
 
Meditation is a science and an art that is part of the yoga philosophy. Through this wondrous body that you have been given, you have the opportunity to start to experience a different relationship with yourself. You can transform doubts and fears about yourself into having a deep and loving relationship with yourself. Through simple breathing and awareness techniques, you can experience states of peace, happiness, bliss and joy that may previously have eluded you. Physically you will experience these as greater energy, a relaxed and comfortable body, a sense of fullness rather than the heaviness and emptiness, and a greater capacity to laugh and enjoy life.
  
The course is for a four week course, I suggest that if you interested, then commit to the four weeks, come with a free and open heart and mind.  You have nothing to lose but your own pain !!!!
